MONDAY

    Read following poem.  Make a list of the words that create a strong visual image for you. 

TUESDAY

    Using the list of words that you created from the narrative poem "Baseball", write a narrative poem of your own about an experience someone might have that would make them proud.  Your poem can be any style or format.  It does not need to be any specific length.   (Remember a narrative poem tells a story).

   How do you feel about the writing experience that we had yesterday?  Was it enjoyable?  What was different about it?  Did it make it easier for you to think of words to write?  Do you think you might use these techniques again?
